ASBS is inter-denominational, not affiliated with any church or denomination. The school holds
to the traditions and beliefs of the Reformation.
Classes at ASBS are taught from a biblical perspective.
• The Bible is the infallible, inerrant, and divinely inspired Word of
God
• God is sovereign and in control of all things
• The living Word of God is Jesus Christ. Every book of the Bible is
about Him
• Salvation is offered to all who believe and it cannot be earned
through works or any earthly merit. The only way to salvation is
through Jesus Christ and His death on the cross
• The only proper response to God’s love for us and the death of His Son is gratitude
acceptance in devout thought, speech and action
• Everyone who accepts salvation is a member of a community of believers. Lay people serve a
vital role to participate in all aspects of the church.
